Chametz Sale Form

Delegation of Power of Sale of Chometz

On Pesach a Jew is prohibited, not only to eat chametz, but, even to own chametz. Chametz includes many grain based products we may not think of – such as beer, vodka and whiskey in addition bread, cereal, pasta etc. Chametz remaining in the possession of a Jew during Pesach is not Kosher even after Pesach.

For this reason, all chametz that will not be eaten or burned before Pesach and all chametz utensils that will not be thoroughly cleaned by then should be sold and stored away for the duration of Pesach. After Pesach we will buy it back for you and you will be permitted to eat it. The following online form must be submitted to us no later than 8am on April 5, 2023. This form allows Rabbi Yisroel Fridman to act as your agent in selling your chametz; without your chametz physically leaving your property.

Please fill it out, scan and email it back to rabbifridman@maonnoam.ca
